Statements, help and AI

Read what each program focuses on and make sure it matches what you want to study. Then ask your professors and Rebecca Baron, QC's Advisor for Scholarships and Fellowships in the Office of Honors and Scholarships, to help with your statements of purpose. They are here to help. Don't lose out on an opportunity because you were scared to ask. You're in college to learn, so learn.
AI is useful for some tasks, like building this website. But professors read the applications to these programs, and they will know if AI wrote yours. Use it as a proofreader instead: give it the prompt and your own draft, and ask where you could improve or show more of yourself. It's a machine, and it doesn't know you better than you know yourself. Before you submit, have peers and professors read your writing too.
